High Velocity Market Master: Trading Course

When the course arrived and I looked through it for the first time I wasn’t exactly surprised as I knew what I was getting. However, I wanted to know how it would be packaged with both the beginner and experienced trader in mind.

The course claims to be suitable for not only the newbies but also traders who have been trading a while but are failing to achieve their goals, so it is essential that everyone can work through it at their own pace.

The course contains:

Over 6 hours of video! 6 hours is a looong time!

I’ve never been the most patient person and find learning about things that I already know about extremely boring, but I wanted to cover every aspect of the course to ensure I didn’t miss anything of importance.

This was going to be painful.

Let’s have a closer look at each of the section in the trading course…

HVMM Custom Indicator Software
Pitched as ‘the backbone’ of the High Velocity Market Master course, the indicators have been custom programmed for the futures, forex, stock and options markets.  They have been designed specifically for the course so you will not find anyone outside of HVMM using them, which is definitely a good thing.  Often you find that courses use indicators that are being used by many people across the world which can make them less effective.

Disc 1 – Set Up (22 mins)
The first disc is a short introduction and set up cd; you are shown where to find additional training materials based on the method that will be taught on later cd’s and where to find support if it is required. The second part of the disc takes you through the indicator installation and platform set up instructions. The set up process doesn’t take too long so you will be able to quickly move on to the course introduction and get started!

Disc 2 – Basic Training (68 Mins)
This disc is split in to nine easy to follow training sections that cover different aspects of the basic trading strategy.  Starting off with a brief introduction to the course you go on to learn about the various indicators and what they are showing you; all the basics are covered as you are taken through: indentifying where they entry set ups come froom, what profit target is and where should your protective stop be, the sequence of trades, how to get out of a bad trade, how to successfully re-enter trades and how to use the HVMM calculator.

By Disc 3 I Felt Like
Ripping My Hair Out!

Sitting through 90 minutes of video teaching you what you already know is pretty mind numbing stuff, but I’m not watching this part for my benefit; some people on the course will be learning this for the first time and I believe it covers everything that you need to know at this point.

It certainly proves that trading is not just for numbers geeks and that the High Velocity Market Master can teach anybody how to trade if they follow and apply the rules as set out in HVMM.

Disc 3 – Special Situations and Walk Throughs (111 Mins)
This disc covers special situations that can occasionally occur and are not what you experience 95% of the time.  The first five sections in the disc cover: what to do when you go against the profit line, how to adjust your set up if you need a quick work around, how to work with the directional indicator, trading with gaps and adding a second calculator.  This is followed by eight walk throughs that show real time session examples.

Disc 4 – System II (65 Mins)
The first part of this disc is an introduction to System II, which is an additional section on the course, and includes implementing slight changes to the rules shown so far. This section does not need to be followed immediately. Beginners should complete the rest of the course before they come back and implement these instructions, but the more advanced users will find loads of useful information that can definitely benefit your trades.

You are shown how to apply advanced settings on your calculator and are advised about what exceptions you should make when using System II. There are also three walk through’s that take you through examples of using System II.

Disc 5 – Trade Secrets (92 Mins)
The final disc has nine sections covering trade secrets.  The first section takes you through the major differences between swing trading and day trading and the impact it has on how you approach your day. The second section covers your trading psychology and how it can affect your trading without you even realizing.

The next sections explain: the three types of time frames and the differences between each one, how the news can impact your trading and how much you should be aware of what’s happening in the news, how to back-test your way to success, the ‘power of quitting’ and how you can be rewarded for quitting, key level and swing level adjustments, risk management (which in my opinion is one of the most important aspects of trading) and how to ensure you maximize your chances of trading for profit.

Finally We’re Getting Somewhere!

There is a lot of useful information in the last 3 discs that can really help you get the most out of your trades. I have picked up a few ideas that I am looking forward to implementing in my trading strategies to see what kind of results I can achieve.

HVMM Trading Manual
I was told that the manual is where the magic starts to happen and they weren’t wrong!  This is where you will be introduced to the HVMM strategy. As they explain on their website you are shown each of the major set ups where you will be able to use your HVMM indicators to identify you entry points. This is simple and easy to follow.

The manual also acts as a reference point that can and will help you as you start to make trades, but you should make sure that you have watched and understand everything that is taught in the videos in order to get the most out of it.

Guide to Markets and Time Frames
The information in this guide will help you pinpoint the best markets and timeframes to trade in.  There are many choices that are covered so it is for you to decide which is best for you personally. This is important as the markets open and close at different times so timeframe can have an impact.

You will discover the options involved in each of the markets starting with trading futures and commodities, Fibonacci numbers, timeframes for futures trading and the times of day to trade.

Next you learn about the forex market and the timeframes to consider as well as the best times of day to trade. You will learn the same information for trading stock and equities as well as trading exchange traded funds.

1 Years Full Access to the Owners Club

Having sat through the training material for HVMM I do believe that it has all the information required to help you trade successfully. Beginners will be able to follow at your own pace and learn the basics quickly and traders with some experience will learn a new strategy and other helpful tips along the way.

Everyone but advanced traders will take something from this course.  For some you will have to work your way through a lot of information that you already know but if you are patient and spend a few hours looking through the videos you will learn something that can help you get more out of your trades.

It may be a little thin in some areas but it definitely has all the information to get you started and making profitable trades in no time.  And as with any course worth looking at you can effectively try before you buy.  When you receive the product you will be given 30 days to have a look and see if it is the right course for you.  If not then you can simply send it back and get a full refund with no questions asked

But Is It All Good?

Is anything ever perfect?  The first thing to say is that it’s certainly not the cheapest course you can buy. And of course you can’t forget that it’s not just the price of the course that you need to find, you must also have some money to invest.  That doesn’t mean it’s not worth it though, any course that is worth buying will not be cheap.  This information is valuable and has proven to make people a lot of money, so if you are serious about trading and want to learn with out error then you will have to be prepared to pay.

There are courses out there that are a lot cheaper but I can tell you, having spent a lot of money $200 courses, that they are normally created by an Internet Marketer rather than a trading expert. The content is normally re written PLR articles and I have never seen a cheap course that is worth the money.  This information is too valuable. Although top end course like this are expensive, if you are prepared to spend time learning it can turn out to be the best investment you ever made.

So if you are not prepared to invest a little time and money then this is not the course for you. Remember rather than giving you fish, this course gives you the tools to fish and if used correctly you will not go hungry for years to come!

In my conclusion I suggested that the course was thin in some areas.  While this is not essential information I do believe you could do even better if you were armed with additional ideas and knowledge.
